Booking terms

Purpose

This site presents the "Cabana Amigos e Vento" house and lets you send a booking request. It is not an online booking platform: no transaction takes place here.

A request is not a booking

Submitting the form is a request, and nothing more. No room is held at that stage, and the dates you picked stay available to other visitors.

The automatic email you receive straight after submitting acknowledges your request: it is not a confirmation. Only an explicit written reply from the Cabana confirms the booking and forms the contract.

Availability shown

The calendar reflects availability as known when you load the page, taking into account bookings received through rental platforms. This is indicative: a night shown as free may have been booked in the meantime.

Prices

Prices are shown in Brazilian reais (R$), per night and inclusive of all taxes. Breakfast and cleaning are included.

The price depends on the period and on the number of rooms booked. A stay spanning two pricing periods is calculated night by night, at the rate applying to each night.

Displayed prices may change at any time. The price that applies to your stay is the one stated in the Cabana's written confirmation.

The stay

The bookable unit is the room. You may book one, two or three — three rooms being the whole house. The minimum stay is one night.

Check-in is from 4pm. Check-out is by 11am at the latest on the day of departure.

Any request for early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and requires the Cabana's prior agreement. Additional charges may apply.

How to get into the house is sent to you with the confirmation.

Payment

No payment is made on this site, and no payment details are requested here. Payment terms and schedule are given to you when your booking is confirmed.

The accepted payment methods are Pix, PayPal and bank transfer.

Cancellation

As long as a request has not been confirmed, it can be withdrawn at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason. Once the booking is confirmed, the following terms apply and form part of the contract.

Any cancellation made more than 15 days before the arrival date gives rise to a full refund of the amounts paid.

For any cancellation made between 14 and 7 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total booking amount is refunded.

No refund is granted for a cancellation made less than 7 days before the arrival date, nor in the event of a no-show or early departure.

Liability

The information published on this site is maintained with care, without any guarantee that it is complete or free of error. The photographs illustrate the house and its surroundings: they are not contractual.

Kitesurfing and water sports are practised at each person's own risk. The Cabana is neither a school nor a club, and supervises no sporting activity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, being the place where EX AEQUO LTDA is established and where the service is provided.

If you live in the European Union and are acting as a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence: choosing Brazilian law cannot deprive you of them.
